Don't Quit by National Trainer Tricia Heflin

DON’T QUIT!

“Every single thing you do matters.  You have been created as one of a kind. You have been created in order to make a difference.  You have within you the power to change the world.” Andy Andrews—The Butterfly Effect

That Power in you is --- The Spirit of God!

So blessed to be in this work with you fellow Surrendering the Secret leaders!  God is using us to make a difference in a life, one by one, group by group.  I would have never imagined that when God prompted me to share my deepest pain, my most shameful failure, my greatest loss with my daughter and then my son, He was doing so to heal me and change me and my family forever.  God began there, to usher me into my own healing and into this ministry of post abortion healing.  As leaders we all have our God-led journeys to this incredible, God-written Bible study.  And as we watch other women [and men] share their pain, shame, failure and loss, we again are changed forever as we see that what we thought was meant for us, has turned out to be for so many more!  We are serving God’s Purpose in our own generation!(Ac 13:36)   We are leading others on a trust journey through the Word of God, to truly discover God’s goodness and experience His heart toward us personally. (Zep 3:17, Is 43:1) Hope is restored.  Truth is spoken.  God is revealed and honored as the Lover of our souls.

And the Enemy of our souls, is angered!  And you can bet he wants to silence us, to thwart our efforts, to make us grow weary in well doing and to make us feel inadequate!  Satan does not want us, as leaders to trust God, or those in our groups to believe that God’s love truly covers our sin, failure, and devastations.  When we grow weary, want to quit, realize we are inadequate, that is exactly when we need to spend extra time allowing God to strengthen us.  We need His strength to continue this journey as much as our groups do!

“Do not throw away your confidence [in the Lord] it will be richly rewarded”. Heb 10:35  If you are wondering if another leader needs a word of encouragement or “how to” … YES, she does!   Yes, I do!   When you need it, ask.  I asked God and He gave it.  HE seems to never grow weary of my asking. I asked Pat Layton for encouragement and she gave it!!! Let’s encourage each other and know no good word will go unnoticed or is unneeded!

Much is at stake! The saving of lives, the healing of hearts, the changing of a Nation! It is a great work God has called us to.

“The One who called you is faithful and He will do it!” 1Th5:24

Don’t Quit! J,

    Tricia,
You are so right. We need to encourage each other and ask for strength. Just thinking of you has encouraged me. Use us, Lord to reach more and more women and men.
